You know speaking of constellations, I once was in another galaxy in SE and I distinctly made out the shape of a Porsche 911 in the sky as a constellation.

I was wrong, this forum still has a horrible community.

I'm not even good at finding constellations though... I can't imagine trying to make them.

Something tells me the majority of constellations would end up being male genitalia.

Why would you even say that? This is the 21st century, men and women and equal rights now and there should be as many female genitalia as male. Gosh, what a 20th century mentality! (Read with derp voice).

it is safe to say that 0.97 will be released before summer.

^from April 2, 2013.

Actually I'm starting to have doubts that 0.97 will be released June 21, 2013. Not that it matters, although it's a guaranty that 0.97 will come out sometime this year.

It will be released when it is ready, so there's no point in pondering about when that may be. You can instead ponder over how much fun you'll be having when that time does come. wink

I don't recommend this- it will be much more painful

EDIT: I mean the imagining, not the fun

EDIT2: If SpaceEngine is to be given a name, then .97 would be a very nice update to introduce it due to the wealth of new features. Once more, I offer my suggestion:
Unisim
(a planetarium that runs on SpaceEngine)
EDIT3: I don't care if I get credit for the name... I just really think it's the best logical choice for a name for SE- so simple, so elegant, sums up the entire program in a single word... okay I'm done editing now

I'm sure Space Engine 0.97 will come out very soon, we just have to be patient. Although it's hard when you see pictures of it. biggrin

It's totally safe to say that 0.97 will be released before summer as long as you don't specify what year.

I feel like this thread has been turned into, "when is SE coming", followed by "be patient" a few times and then someone asks the question again. Spaceengineer will release SE when it is ready and swamping this thread with posts doesn't help him.
SE will release when SE releases and until then, enjoy 0.96.2.

I wonder when there will be a post that's actually an update on the progress, instead of "WHEN WILL IT COME OUT".

Ok, from now on, all posts about a release date, whether it be inquiry, speculation, joke, or a reply to any of these, or any other form of relevant connection to release date that I might have missed, will be deleted.

Also, any other off-topic posts will be subject to deletion as well. This thread is for SpaceEngineer to post updates and for users to post comments or questions about those updates. Nothing else.
