Definetely astroniki's and kviki's. Noway mine - its complete and epic failure , Personally I think astroniki's is the best but this is just personal taste.

I'm quite sure he's talking about the lens flare mods people have released.

Also, with astroniki's flare, it only looks right as a 16-bit png, as an 8-bit fully compressed image it does not look right, so that's something to take into account when selecting and configuring the flares.

| While we're talking about lens flares, I still think the flares need some additional love. If you're using diagonal lines in the flares, jagged edges are present, which I believe looks unprofessional.
For example here; at the outer edges of the flare you'll see the jaggy edges:
That's why the horizontal or vertical only flares are awesome. Aside from that, you can also distinguish the circular star behind the bland-transparent flare. Flares should be bright atleast at the centre so you can't see the star's shape behind it. You'll be seeing the flares alot in the game, they must look good!
ps IF you're going to include mod flares, don't include the ''EVE'' flare from me (it looks like crap!) but the ''Eveolution'' version.

| Wait..................................................................maybe I could have asked this much earlier, but is there an option to keep the loading bar? Or at least to toggle the text which says what's being created?
I like seeing what's being generated, whether it be clouds, terrain, stars, or anything else. Knowing what's being loaded is (to me) very important- until SE can start taking advantage of lots more ram.

Same here, I like being able to see the progress that it's doing and what it's doing as well.

Cheers, Vincent Hi Vincent!
How about allowing him to finish and release 0.97 first?
Cheers, Frostbreath

In debug mode that will still be there. I too like being able to see it, it'd be nice to have it as an option in normal mode as well (so you don't have to see all the debug HUD text). But it will be there.

You do realize you can just use a higher res texture? It eliminates all jaggies.
