| Quote (RAF_Blackace) SpaceEngineer. I love the new video you posted. You even used my faveroite piano piece. But you should have asked if anyone had done it. Would have saved you paying royalty. This is my version. Watermark, played by me :) Do you mean that this version is played by you and thus have no copyright issues?
BTW, this is the same icy moon on the screenshots and video

| I bet where the video ended, that is where the start up area is going to be in 0.97. I could be wrong though, but I know for certain that the place will have auroras and probably a comet close by.

Maybe. Could also be Earth with a comet close by, not neccesarily Halley's Comet, although that one is probably the most well known (in name, not scientifically) comet.

| Vary good insight smjjames. But we also must know that im sure Space Engineer also wants to show people good texture of the planet as well, so a procedural planet im sure has to be the choice. But we will find out till its out.

This is my version. From one musician to another: exquisite work! I am also doing music for this project but all original compositions.
As for royatly fees to Enya, when SE turns into a game and if copyrighted material is used in a commercial product, permission has to be obtained no matter if the composition is from the composer or another musician's rendition. That is, the intellectual properrty of even the rendition belongs to the original artist. In fact, the recording industry has gotten so strict that guitar tab sites are now being targeted as copyright infringement.
I know that SpaceEngineer stated that the planetarium version of SE will always remain free so perhaps there would be no issues in terms of copyright but credit still does need to be given.
Sites like SoundCloud actually after a mechanism to report copyright violation. All compositions there have to be original.
Just a heads up.
Again, superb work!!!

| SpaceEngineer, I think that the next version of SE should come with a release package that does not include the Solar system textures. They take up the majority of the volume and some users do not need them. I do not want to have to spend hours downloading SE when I already have the textures I just think it would be a nice option to have, for people with slow connections who already have the textures for the planets.

| Not. The planets of the solar system have to have the best textures. I think there needs to be improved the universe we know.
I like the real universe and the work should be in this regard. I'm so sad to see how Space Engine is a fictional universe and unreal.

It would be practical to be able to just download the core game without all the textures, which some people will never use.

| Conquesti, what are you talking about? The whole purpose of SE is to simulate the real universe. I don't know what you mean by unreal fictional universe.
And if you read my post, you'll see that I intended this to be an additional option for people to use who have slow connections, so they can use the textures they already have instead of downloading them again for no reason. I have three copies of every Solar system texture on my computer already. Why would I want to spend two hours downloading them again? It makes no sense.
And you know how much I care about good textures for Sol planets from all the addons I've made!

| If you remember, versoin 0.93 was without Solar system textures, it can be installed over 0.84 like a patch to be able to use those textures. But my email was spammed by tons of "bug reports" where users complained on textureless Solar system bodies. People don't like to read a few sentences of the description on the download page.

| Quote (SpaceEngineer) People don't like to read a few sentences of the description on the download page. I have considered that. You should probably make an out-of-the-way link, maybe accessible only via the forum, and explicitly state that that version has no textures, so that way there will be no confusion. I just really do not want to spend 3 hours to download 0.97 when it is released
