| Quote JackDole ( ) Concerning eclipse shadows bugs: I made this negative energy cage for DoctorOfSpace's wormholes. Sometimes the cages are broken. The reason are the eclipse shadows.
Fixed. Such a strange thing you constructed! There orbs are too small and too close to each other. Numerical errors leaded to passing a value slightly greater than 1 into acos(), what returned NaN result and broke planet rendering.

Problems with too small parameters I had already when I tried to construct very small Dyson bubbles. The angles are no longer correct.

| Quote grampipon ( ) Well, yea. But is there as estimate as to when? in 2015 :)
Although accretion disks looked "ready", there is a lot things to do. They must be integrated in the engine:
- proper rendering in all conditions (size, orientation, rotation speed etc) (70% done) - defining in scripts to make catalog objects (80% done) - making catalog of black holes, white dwarves and neutron stars with accretion disks (just 3 systems done) - procedural generation with realistic parameters (50% done) - neutron stars and white dwarves (their surfaces must be rendered instead of black hole) (20% done) - accretion disks must be a light sources for other objects (0% done) - some physics for ships (0% done) - jets (0% done) - 3D accretion disks (0% done)
Can you estimate, when they will be ready to release?

You are making an great work Vladimir. I hope the accretion disks get more and more realistic and varied before the release. Self shadowing, accretion around stars of other kind, disks that shine only because of the star's illumination and not by there own.
To contribute to the proposals, I want to add: What about the difference between acretion disks over prograde and retrograde black holes?

I would estimate no sooner than christmas and that is at the very earliest.

| I hope(and I am pretty confident) that this means that quasars will finally be in the engine. I doubt much additional work would be needed once the accretion disks are complete.
Also, I'm a bit curious on how jets will be handled, seeing as they are both, how should I say, a stellar and super-stellar structure. What I mean by this is they both need to be rendered within the black hole system itself and as interstellar structures as these jets can go on for lightyears.

| Every one of you is wrong. The correct answer is when those features are 100% done.

| I like on what I'm seeing here, I think when the accretion disks are ready to be implemented. I will be fantastic! I think we can all agree on this.

With all due respect I find it quite highly unlikely if not impossible for all those features to be ready by the end of 2015. But even if 2D accretion disks are implemented within 2015, I will be extremely happy :). Space Engineer is doing a fantastic work. There is no need for all those features to be implemented in 0974 or to be 100% functional. Visual bugs and glitches are acceptable at this stage. This is my opinion.
