| I'd recommend against it: aside from this recent trouble, Nvidia drivers have worked MUCH better with SE than AMD drivers, and given that the next version should work with the latest Nvidia drivers, I'd still suggest Nvidia.

| I have no personal experience as I've only used Nvidia, but some people who have used both (like DoctorOfSpace) say that SE has fewer problems on Nvidia.

| Far fewer problems. I could write a book on the amount of issues I have run into on ATI in games and 3D software.

| I cannot really speak for SE as I only have used it under my current Nvidia card, but over the years I have switched back and forth between ATI/AMD and Nvidia and I have not noticed any relevant difference in the amount of trouble either brand has or causes. Both mostly work fine, both have odd and annoying problems now and then.

Understandable, Nvidia may have powerful GPUs, but they are a pain to program with. Linux is still having problems with the Nvidia Optimus technology and that took me 2 months to figure out, but anyways back on track, I can keep waiting, growth of the project has been looking good so far and I love the posting of the progress images.
