| Why would there be in this thread?
Anyway, we are all too busy playing with it - I myself spent the last few hours re-enacting Gravity using the 2010 Astronaut model.
I was just getting ready to post some screenshots.

| Quote Destructor1701 ( ) Why would there be in this thread? It was just an exasperated reaction to someone else's model getting immediately showered in accolades while the model that everyone was requesting incessantly and creating new threads over was finally released, and not even a cricket was chirping (on this forum anyway). It took an insane amount of time and effort to get that to where it is, I'd just like to know that the people who asked for it have noticed that it's out now and appreciate it. It's much the same as if Vladimir spent days slaving away over some new feature that everyone was clamoring over for SE, and when he released it it was ignored.
I don't mean to sound like some kind of attention-mongerer, normally I don't care about whether people notice my work or what their opinion is (aside from taking it into consideration when I do things in the future), but in this case I do care a little, and I also wanted to explain why I made that specific post in this exact place.
In any case, I know you already made your comments on it and I appreciate it, I would just like to have gotten some feedback from a few of the other people who kept requesting the model, if for no other reason than to make sure they know that it's available for them now.

| Your frustration is understandable.
There seems to be an odd apathy towards real space hardware on this forum... perhaps because of the primarily interstellar nature of Space Engine.

| Added a Hydra config. I am probably the only one on these forums with the device though...
Added the NX-02. I would have included it with a previous Trek pack but it had some issues I finally fixed.

| What ever happened to the idea of controlling Ncc-1701 from the bridge? I remember you posting a picture of the bridge with earth in the view screen. Looked awesome. Something about the limitations on textures of the previous spacengine version that wouldn't allow you to complete.

| I have it ported to 0.9.7.2 but I have to finish adding lights. I also use Wiley's model for it so I don't think I could release it without his permission. To view the bridge properly also requires a very low FOV and editing the z-buffer settings. Maybe in a future version where smaller models are fully supported I will add bridges to ships.
On my previous mention of adding bridges I just did this to Voyager.
I used every texture as it's own emis which is why it doesn't look as nice as it should but there are close to 200 textures so it was a real pain just doing that. This was done as more of a proof of concept anyway.
