| I opened the SSS files in notepad, and manually adjusted the figures beside each engine.

| Quote Destructor1701 ( ) At a glance that looks like either NineOfNine's or Lint's Defiant model. They've both been AWOL for years now, so I doubt you'll get a response from them.
I did email a few people but only Wiley has responded. I would prefer to avoid any incidents in the future so I will continue to wait. The defiant isn't a spectacular model either so it isn't worth it. Voyager I got permission from one person who worked on it, and then another from JL Studios told me no so I haven't released and won't until I get a single response.
Quote Destructor1701 ( ) Great work as usual, dude! I did have to dial down the engine power of most of the ships, as they'd shoot out of orbit with so much as a tap - but aside from that, really nice work.
I left in the high values as a test to see if it could be done. The Star Trek ships are more like cheat ships anyway and I recommend using "UFO" cheat when flying them as that is the closest you can get to how a Trek ship would actually fly.
So long as custom ships are supported, they will always be cheat ships.
Quote Do you realize that in the final SE game you will not be able to use custom models, but only those that will fit the spaceship design and physics concept? Because those EvE, Star Trek, Star Wars, BSG ships are unrealistic and the physics engine will show in full detail. You can't accelerate asymmetrical EvE's ship - it'll just start rotating. You can't walk in a submarine-like designed ship when it accelerates, because a floor will become a wall. When the ship is not accelerated, there will be zero gravity on-board, so its submarine-like design makes no sense again. The physics engine will use the mass distribution and realistic engine's parameters, generated heat that must be emitted by radiators, bump a ship with a micro-meteors and dust, etc. Your ships from the movies and other games will not work!
Quote Destructor1701 ( ) Farshot over at BCC has been working on a super-accurate Studio-Model version of the Defiant based on painstaking research by Saquist. I can't tell if it has been released yet, as BCC is down at the moment. As far as I know, the model is complete, it's just awaiting some hardpoint scripts, so perhaps Farshot would be willing to release it to you for conversion once it's released for BC.
That would be fantastic.
Quote rdskns4eva ( ) I have that same problem on free warps...How did you changer engine power?
Edit the .sss file for the ship in the models/spacecrafts/addons/ETC/Ship.sss

| Doctorofspace. Words cannot explain how excited i got when i come to this forum. You managed to get every single ship i like on spaceengine. The added lights caused my head to explode. Beautiful work! Space Engineer has no idea how thankful i am for him to make my childhood and adulthood dream come true. Well, the closest i can get to real space.....

| Doc, will you be putting Serenity back into your mod list anytime? (I tried to find any posts talking about why it was gone and/or if it was going to be back, but I couldn't find anything).

| I might eventually. Just requires a bit of work to get into 971 and if I release it again I would prefer to do so alongside the shuttle. I might do that soon though as I still have all the files.

| One more thing....
Is there any chance that perhaps the USS Enterprise A might exist as a model to import, with any permission, with the other TOS ships?

| I posted about that before. I have the previous model already ported but the Emis map is broken and fixing it is too much of a pain to bother with. I can't release it without permission and to get that permission I need to get the model perfect.
