| Quote (Kyle) I'm almost done with Contact. What a fantastic book. Yes it is, much better than the movie (which wasn't bad either).

| It really sucks that Sagan died so young. He would have been so happy to hear about the discovery of exoplanets.

| Quote (Disasterpiece) He would have been so happy to hear about the discovery of exoplanets. Actually he was still alive to hear about the first exoplanet discoveries.

| A new art display paying homage to Carl Sagan called "Cosmos" has been unveiled at Cornell University (where Carl used to work). It uses 12 000 LEDs to create an ever-changing image.

And the best part about that?
I read it in Carl Sagan's voice.

| I have read two of Sagan's books--Billions and Billions and The Dragons of Eden--and I will gladly recognize his legacy: Inspiring the many generations after him to pursue the stars, certainly a deed aided by his work, is a feat I can certainly appreciate.
