| it's made in 8 bit... I know, my mistake, 256 levels instead 65536.
Maybe i will try to re-render the PSD files in 16 bit.

| Solaris, is the second picture in true colors? Because if it is it means that the atmosphere is bluish like I always imagined
The universe is not required to be in perfect harmony with human ambition.
CPU: Intel Core i7 4770 GPU: ASUS Radeon R9 270 RAM: 8 GBs
(still don't know why everyone is doing this...)

| The second picture makes pluto look really tiny! The mountains almost looks like rocks on a beach.

| Salvo, it have been colorized with global MVIC data, so I guess it is similar to true color, but the hue of the haze is a rough approximation. According to John Spencer (NH's team member) : Quote this was a single channel image (we wouldn't have held out on you if we'd had color!). Several of our closest MVIC images were b/w rather than color, because of limited time near closest approach- we can take B/W images faster than color ones, and they allow higher-res LORRI riders. We still don't know what color the haze is, though we'll have lower-resolution high-phase color images soon, which will answer that question. | Franz, your Pluto texture was actually used in Universe Sandbox. Do you think that your textures of Pluto and Charon may eventually become default textures in future versions of Space Engine?

| New high resolution photos of Charon
Along the canyon it seems came off a huge block of crust of the north hemisphere that now sinks into the ground of the southern hemisphere!
Sorry for my English! ;)
