I was about to exit youtube to download KSP but then, I saw a space engine video (Didn't know what it was at the time) that caught my eye, I started the video up, it looked awesome!, I forgot about KSP and then went to download space engine. biggrin

The first thing I did in SE Is go find a black hole in the center of the milky way. I had 0.97 which crashed alot so it was really hard.

After I discovered Celestia, and found out that it was a 'dead' project, I decided to go for something like it... And I found something way better!

I searched Ships for Space Engineers on YouTube, when I suddenly saw a Video with the Title: Space Engine 0.9.7.1. Then, everything started...

I found SE on youtube.I was just watching random videos and was bored,so I wanted to watch some Kerbal Space program by kurtjmac. Then i saw a title Space Engine Review by the same guy so i clicked on it.
At first i though it was "another crappy game" but then it came the moment when he showed millions of galaxies and after that i became addicted for SE.It cried of joy as it downloaded, but i cried of sadness because it wont work on my computer :(.Maybe in a year or 2 i will be able to play SE....

This game fullfils all my expectations. It is sandbox,it is infinite,it is about SPACE!

Great game, wish i could play it cry

When will our goverments forget about the borders, and start looking into the stars as a species?

Way back when, I got Celestia. I thought it was cool... For a while, and then got bored by it. Then I found space engine but it couldn't run with my dreaded Intel HD graphics card. But then I got a new desktop and yippie! Now I can run it. :P

I was watching random space videos on YouTube, and I eventually ended up on a commentary (not Scott Manley, surprisingly) of Space Engine. I had heard of this software long before, but wasn't interested. But the video looked so good I went and got it!

All you need in life are space games and typhlosions.

Oddly enough, Spumwack, a Minecraft youtuber, pointed me here with his "Universe Death Clock" video.

I'm not exactly sure how I found SE, but I think it may have been through looking for Universe Sandbox textures, and this site popped up. I saw the video, and was like "WOAH o_o" After, I downloaded it, It actually worked fine on my PC, but then when I got my laptop, oh my gosh it worked way better, and it had upgraded to 0.9.7.2 from .1 and all the new stuff amazed me. I remember learning all the controls from scratch, and pressing every key to find out what each did, because I refused to read the manual XD

I found space engine while trying to find a program that would make me create pictures of surfaces of distant planets (perhaps with a large gas giant in the sky) while looking on the internet I stumbled on a site that talked about space engine, looking at the pictures I have said, it is the program I was looking for and so I visited the site, then I realized that was anything but the program I was looking, looking at the photos I downloaded it, in my first session as if I was in a city unknown to me, but I liked that situation gave me a sense of adventure, and so after a while I loved it

the universe is made to be explored, but no one will ever visit it all

I found the texture, but it's too big to upload.
