| Will light emission from accretion disks be implemented in 0.972? (like in the movie Interstellar)
I will be inactive on this forum for the time being. Might come back eventually

| Quote Retsof ( ) So, any chance of asteroids/comets getting more varied terrain? 1) There's not a whole lot that can be done when terrain is only generated at 10 meters per pixel. 2) This is off-topic for this thread. Find a better place to post things like this in the future.

| "Fix" for the warp shaders edge artifact. Method suggested by friend of DoctorOfSpace - mirror tiling. Looks better than current "lines" artifact. Will be fixed completely when I implement enviroment map for warp fields.

Nope. Will be done eventually though, but right now it isn't as important as other things.

| Hello hello !!
A small question about water. Do you already know how "technique" you will use for 3D water on planets? I know it's not a priority but I was wondering if you already figured out how you will do that... I was looking at the 3D water in Prepar3D flight simulation, it is basic but good looking and without hitting frame rate too much. I imagine it is more a question of fluid simulation approximation ...
Ciao.

I was that friend. Thank you so much for taking my suggestion on board! It's really amazing how quickly you implemented that! I'm glad you agree that it looks better than the streaks - It ought to work the same on the black hole lensing shader, too, right?
It's certainly trippy as heck when you look into the forward lobe of the warp field! The trippiness will be less pronounced when you're not looking at a planet, of course. Are the black lines intentional, as part of the testing, or are they an artefact of the buffer?

| This is acheived simply by changing the frame texture edge mode parameters - form "clamp" to "mirrored repeat". Black lines was for testing.
