Guys, if he has to spend time making a video showing off all the new features, many of which probably aren't in a show-worthy state of progress right now, that takes time away from development. Personally, I'd rather he spend time finishing his work than waste hours making a video.

Indeed! A playable software is much more inspiring than a video. The earlier 0.9.7.2 completed, the more fans will be attracted.

Please don't do that. Too much impatience. Version 0.9.7.2 is going to be amazing. I prefer an accumulation of new features rather than ordinary changes every month. Just keep working and when Vladimir is prepared we would have a great experience.

I feel like when 0.9.7.2 gets released all people will start to ask about 0.9.7.3 instead of diving in the new software.

It's not a patch. It's a full release with fixes for the NVIDIA driver problem, for people who are having that. That's why it's taking so long. SpaceEngineer has to fix all those problems BEFORE it's released. That will take a long time.

Ok, all but three posts on the last page (pg 45) were off topic. Remember people, this is a place for SpaceEngineer to post updates and for everyone to comment on his posts. Don't discuss anything else here - that includes not asking for progress updates or release dates. Any further off-topic posts will be deleted without warning.

Stay on topic from now on.

Implemented a week or so ago, but still not finished (you may notice the old stars). Thin rotating accretion disk around the black hole at different exposures:
