| Looks great. Are these lava spots(on Io) procedural, or are they manually mapped?

There has been no direct evidence of lava on venus yet. Though there is evidence of recent lava flows. Either way venus isn't volcanic enough to have night lights.

Quote SpaceEngineer ( ) Anyway, I should note: as long as SE is a scientifically accurate Universe simulator, then one day it will implement ALL space objects and phenomenon that are known to modern astronomy. So you may not bother yourself with questions like "will SE one day have meteor rain implemented". I guarantee that it WILL.

| Not necessarily terrain deformation, just existing volcanic regions "lighting up" and "cooling down" over time. It'd be like a form of weather, which I believe is already on the to-do list.

| Awesome news for the night side lights ! Earth and Io look great ! By the way, is it possible to see videos of those planets spinning to look at the transition between night and day ?
I'll be glad to see procedural lava when it will be adapted to terrain.
Want some music of mine ? Please go here !
