North Cascades National Park, close to the Canadian border. :)

I was really stunned by the frost. Many of the valleys don't receive any sun during this time of year and so the frost doesn't thaw. It just keeps growing longer day after day, coating every surface with these delicate feathery crystals. With that and the sunset light on the peaks, it was pretty magical. happy

Seeing SpaceEngineer's epic new black hole shader inspired me to improve my own:

It still has a few tiny kinks to work out, but it's getting better and better.

Couple of macro shots after quite a long break. I hope i'll be able to get back to more active photography soon. I've had some real life stuff that has taken most of my attention lately.

Came across this while hiking the other day. Sometimes I am awed by the most unexpected things, where perfection and beauty arise in the most ordinary of places.

Living among the stars, I find my way. I grow in strength through knowledge of the space I occupy, until I become the ruler of my own interstellar empire of sorts. Though The world was made for the day, I was made for the night, and thus, the universe itself is within my destiny.

I almost said, the dog has a cold nose, he is healthy. But so I say nothing wrong, I have researched. It appears that the nose is not a sufficient indicator of the health of a dog. dry
