| For those still waiting on VR support, there is a compromise that is actually pretty nice.
Download Virtual Desktop from Steam. Set the screen to Curved, the Screen size to 120°, screen distance to maximum and the background to black. Then run SE in full screen mode.
It pretty much fills your field of view with only minor distortions near the top and bottom of the screen. It isn't full 360° but the immersion is still pretty decent.
