New official addons for 0.972 can be found at the link below. The addons in the old post (included in the spoiler) are outdated now. The 0.972 addons can be used with older versions, just extract the files/folders from the .pak files.

SpaceEngineer thank you for uploading these textures! Unfortunately, when I try to download with a torrent client (BitTorrent, uTorrent), they come up blank (0B data). Any suggestions?

If you can, upload these addons on your favourite trackers or file hostings, then send me a torrent file or link.

Now I'm not one to complain so I'll just say this. THESE FILES ARE AWESOME !!!!

I can now take the superb Apollo ships from Orbiter and combine them with these superb backgrounds in space engine and create an Apollo 11 film to die for.

Course it would be even better if those Apollo spacecraft could be imported directly into orbiter wink

Thanks mate.

Thank you SE, for uploading and sharing. It looks even more amazing now. For example, you can now easily recognize the surface features (terrain) around the Apollo lunar landing sites of Apollo 15 and 17 very clearly with the new Moon bump map. It is so much fun to explore the surface of Earth, Moon and Mars with god-like abilities happy

SE, can you tell me what the original size (width x height pixel dimensions) of your Moon surface texture (not the bumpmap) was?

Again, thank you so much!

Hello SpaceEngineer,

in this thread at the russian forum (Link) you posted some images of the SDSS catalogue in Space Engine.
Can this catalogue be added to the official addons?

This was a "fake" catalog, i.e. it consists only positions of galaxies, and not their types, radii, luminosities. I made it just to get an idea of how a large-scale structure looks. However, everyone can make his own addon - grab the SDSS catalog data and convert it into SE format. It would most helpful smile
