| What do you think about oceans like this in Space Engine? That would be super cool, wouldn't it? Also, I thought that the faster and stronger the wind, the waves are higher and move faster. Of course, it would also depend on the composition of the liquid. Do you think that would be possible in SE? The liquid existing in the current version of SE is boring and flat.
P.S. I'm sorry for my bad English. It's not my native language.

| Surely a thread named "3D Water and Clouds" is not an unreasonable place to ask about 3D Water...

He mostly likely created a separate thread to ask that, and it got merged here.

| 3D Clouds would totally be awesome in future versions of Space Engine. I got an idea on what it might be like, by using an open source aviation simulator called Flight gear. It truly has 3D clouds.

| It should look like something like this:
The universe is not required to be in perfect harmony with human ambition.
CPU: Intel Core i7 4770 GPU: ASUS Radeon R9 270 RAM: 8 GBs
(still don't know why everyone is doing this...)

Love SpaceEngine!

| I think in future versions of SE, when you see the 3D clouds, gas giants will look more realistic. The shape of the gas giants with 3D clouds will be very similar to it, such as what we see Jupiter in the photos .
Also really looking forward to the moment when will be implemented 3D-water and 3D clouds, also procedural models of galaxies and nebulae and planets rings their stones and dust.

Just imagine going through an almost unnoticeable transition from water to air on a warm oceania with a thick atmosphere...

| If and when Vladimir gets these clouds working, this is what those occasional texture-tile glitches will look like:

The 3D ocean simulation reported by you is remarkable, but this other is really impressive, breathtaking: http://youtu.be/ykPjzV9Z5Ew
