| I always imagined the "Islands" that you see on oceana planets were chalk deposits from marine life. Even if the planet is currently lifeless, it could have at one time had life!

| Quote JohanSXE ( ) When will the new version update release? It'll be ready when it'll be ready. The more you ask this question, the later it will be released. SpaceEngineer isn't a professional software company, it is just a guy who code during its free time. (Apparently now it codes on a full time basis for one year as the donation target has been reached, but it still doesn't mean that the update will come on a planned date.

| Quote SpaceEngineer ( ) Steam is suspended. Maybe for the next version.
Will there still be a non-steam version, for those of us who don't like steam?
Thanks.

| Quote BastiGamezocker ( ) Is it possible to use Voxel-Systems for the Objects, like Planets or Ships ? BastiGamezocker, this would be too much out of the planetarium project, which is now the main project in development. Maybe with the game he'll release using Space Engine will have voxel features for ship constructions, and maybe a voxel-driven game using the Space Engine will be made if he releases a development kit.

| Well, Space Engineer does intend to introduce impactors and dynamic cratering - voxels would be one way to do that.

| SpaceEngineer, did you get a DK2 shipping notification yet? I ordered mine at the 4 hour mark
Edit: Mine was just shipped, so excited. I hope you were able to get one too and maybe able to check out the new SDK that was just released!
