| Spaceengineer, can we have a landscape image with the Oculus Rift enabled? I'd like to see the 3d perception without huds or other stuff. Thanks

| Spaceengineer, could you also fix the Gas planet size limit? Most procedural gas planets are as big as 150,000km but that is as big as they get, and I know there are much larger gas giants out there. (I have seen catalog gas giants that are 180,000km but not the procedurally generated ones)
(Same with rocky planets, since 33,000km seems to be the limit). I'd be really cool if you made super-earths that are 60,000 km in diameter or so really rare to find, while smaller ones be more common. Anyways, I love your program, I use it every day Thanks!

Oh wow, after a few years of discussions it's finally about to be implemented I can hardly wait, great job SpaceEngineer Also can't wait for those awesome stellar coronae

| Question: Are volumetric clouds possible, Or will they use so much memory the game will require a NASA supercomputer to run?
I was wrong, this forum still has a horrible community.

| Given enough time and resources for development, volumetric realtime cloud rendering is possible, not needing supercomputers...

| I'm sure those clouds aren't procedural.

| Quote Unnamed ( ) I'm sure those clouds aren't procedural. The ones in the video certainly looked procedural. Anyway, I have seen procedural 3D clouds before, there is no reason why they can't be done, and SpaceEngineer has them on his list of things he intends to do.

| Super-Earths with 60.000 km are no longer ''Super'' in my opinion lol. Something like hyper or ultra or mega-Earth lol. I don't know if they could potentionally exist. But at such large diameters, their mass would be identical to ice giants. So I think they would rather formed as ice giants gathering plenty of gas from the protoplanetary disk (or disc? lol).
Anyway I would like to see a rather unfamiliar type of object known as ''Sub-brown dwarfs''. Which actually fill the gap between the lowest mass sub-stellar objects and the most massive gas giants. Although with ONE clear distinction: Gas giants are in orbit around other ''stars'', whereas sub-brown dwarfs (1 - 13 Jupimass) formed in the same manner as other stars/sub-stellar objects (through the collapse of a molecular cloud) rather than being formed in a protoplanetary disk around a star/protostar. Very much like a roque gas giant but with stellar spectra of late T to early Y. I don't know just a suggestion
Gas giants that are ''much larger'' than the average 125.000 - 150.000 km are commonly known as ''puffy planets'' or ''Super-Saturns''. Keep in mind that as gas giants get larger and more massive that at some critical point the immense surface gravities (some gas giants are at higher surface gravities than even the Sun!!!) and the tremendous densities and pressures from within the gas giant will actually prevent the planet by becoming ''much larger''. Typically puffy planets (densities similar to Saturn) are orbiting relatively close to their parent stars and the heat is causing it swell up to proportional sizes. Puffy planets typically have 1/3 the mass of Saturn (0.1 JM) up to a maximum of 0.5 JM (Jupiter mass).

| I just noticed that Space Engine Displays Gas Giant Cyclones in the Northern hemisphere of the planet. Jupiter is the only Gas Giant with its cyclone (The Great Red Spot) in the southern hemisphere. Is this a bug with procedural planets?

| Jonahrf, bug reports are to be made in the bug reports thread, not here. And I have seen cyclones in both hemispheres, but the southern ones seem to be glitched, so yes it appears there is a bug.
