| Quote (Aerospacefag) SpaceEngineer, there must be some kind of "inertia" between switchin from place to place, either proportional one or linear. For example, if you quick switch from star to planet, the music simply going to switch from "star music" to "planet music" AND back. That might be not very comfortable, probably. It uses a 20 seconds delay. Ie if music plays less than 20 seconds, it will not switch.

Will it switch to a more appropriate music automatically after 20 seconds or will it continue to play the first song until the first change after 20 seconds?

You ask such questions if I am a manual for good old software. This player is under development, and algorithms may change 100 times until release!

| Did anyone notice? SpaceEngineer added a parameter so that now it shows what type life there is on the planet, such as "Organic multicellar (terrestrial)". Really cool!
I will be inactive on this forum for the time being. Might come back eventually

| I don't know how long it used to be between two updates, but I think there is some great work here !
Thank you for your time and I really like what you did !
EDIT : I'm not a big fan of the "floaters" type of life. Even if it's quite cool, I'm not sure this is very realistic...

| Fixed bugs with galaxy orientation. Now it is possible to use 3 methods of orientation in the script:
1) Old parameters Yaw, Pitch, Roll 2) New parameter Axis - rotation axis and angle, compatible with Celestia values (printed in the Edit mode in the galaxy info) 3) New parameter Quat - rotation quaternion (printed in the Edit mode in the galaxy info)
In the edit mode, arrow keys rotates selected galaxy around screen axes, "<" and ">" keys rotates clockwise and counter-clockwise in the screen plane, and "Page Up" and "Page Down" keys rotates galaxy around its own polar axis. After editing, "Quat" or "Axis" readings in the galaxy info table must be copied in the script. I recommend using "Quat" parameter. Note:
1) Old "Yaw"/"Pitch"/"Roll" parameters are left for compatibility. 2) New "Axis" parameter is a new name of the old "Quat" parameter. It is compatible with Celestia's "Angle" and "Axis" parameters: first number is rotation angle in degrees, next 3 numbers is a rotation axis vector. 3) "Quat" parameter is now the quaternion itself, ie its 4 values must be in the range [-1.0, 1.0].
Important notice for mod-makers: to easy orientate the galaxy, make a version of texture with non-cleared background stars. Load the galaxy with this texture, goto the Sun, disable procedural objects (galaxies, stars, clusters, nebulae), and look at the galaxy. Rotate, move and scale the galaxy in the Edit mode Use to make a catalog stars fit with images of the same stars in the galaxy's texture. At least for nearest galaxies (Magellanic clouds, M 31) this must work very well. If there no catalog stars projecting on the galaxy, you may add some in the catalog (you even don't need to know the distance, just enter RA, Dec and AppMagn).
