| Too cloudy here last night for aurora watching.
The Moon can be seen peeking through the clouds occasionally in this all night exposure. The other streaks are aircrafts.

A British TV program called "N2K" wants to feature this video on their show.

| Quote (Antza2) Link for those, who can't view embedded videos. On that subject, after (unwillingly) rebooting my PC it all works now. This has actually happened before, things start getting really glitchy if I don't shut down for a while
Nice job attracting media attention

| Quote (werdnaforever) How long is a while? I don't know, I don't time these things. A week or two maybe? Problems like this are of course somewhat variable, as you no doubt know. As I've said before I plan to overhaul my system, probably reinstall Windows, etc. sometime after 0.97 is released.

| I always cringe a bit when I hear someone keeps their computer on for more than a few days. How would you feel if you were kept awake and forced to perform binary arithmetic for two weeks?

| Quote (HarbingerDawn) A week or two maybe? Wow- you must be using a desktop, right? Since I've almost always been a laptop user I'm used to turning off computers whenever I finish using them. Even when I've had a desktop as my primary machine, I would still shut it off each time. I guess it's a habit for me at this point- I'm used to waiting for computers to start up. I can't really say I've had much experience with week-long uptimes. Windows 7 isn't that difficult to reinstall- there's nothing like a fresh installation, with some updated drivers and parts... It's also the perfect time to rethink what you want installed on your HDD.
EDIT: I filled in the center of my station some more. My plan is to build slightly outwards on each side. Then I'll create a transition to a stationary area. I'm thinking about having dual stationary (not rotating w/ the station) docking stations: One for cargo, and one for passengers. Then, I need a power source. I'm not sure about a fusion reactor, or maybe a gigantic solar panel array.

Better than waking up at six to spend 7 hours hearing the incessant complaining of middle school girls (and some guys).

| Quote (NovaSilisko) I always cringe a bit when I hear someone keeps their computer on for more than a few days. In my case it just takes too long to boot up (relatively recent problem), and I don't like the inconvenience of having to open everything up again. If I only used my computer for a few hours a day or something then it wouldn't be a big deal, but I'm on it almost constantly, so having to wait on it seems intolerable. If I can improve the boot up time significantly after I give it its midlife overhaul then I might give it more downtime.

I cringe a bit when I reboot my computers especially if I do it remotely, because I rarely reboot more than once a year or two and who knows what could have been messed up in the boot cycle since the last time.
