| You shouldn't expect to.  Media goes crazy over the "super moon", but it's only ~15% (~4 arc minutes) larger and ~30% more luminous than the full moon at apogee. The eye doesn't notice such small changes without something to serve as an immediate side-by-side comparison.
I sometimes feel that ambient light on a perigee full moon is more noticeable, but it's probably only my imagination. I just photograph it because it's pretty.

| It's very hard to notice that the "super moon" is bigger, but I think it's possible to see that it's brighter, i.e. increased ambient light. But the moon is low in the sky here these days, so it looks fairly dim anyway.
We're dealing with the remains of hurricane Bertha these days, so the moon is mostly obscured.

ohh this is just because you are in the far north...but i didnt know that like this. its new to me, i though that you also have suny days all the summer just with cold air

Haha. In the summer of 2000 a weather station nearby recorded 87 consecutive days with rain. This year we had a extremely nice summer, though. Only 48% cloud cover and a mean of 19.5C in July, about 5 deg above the normal. That only happens two or three times in a century.
Yearly average cloud cover here is about 2/3 and precipitation around 1000 mm. This is in the dry part of the country.
