| Quote midtskogen ( ) Congratulations, I guess! Quote RockoRocks ( ) Here is my first attempt at an actual drawing, based on a minecraft screenshot Not bad; perhaps a ruler would be helpful. Due to the rigidity of what you can make in Minecraft, it seems like it has great potential to help anyone wishing to practice perspective drawings.
I made a new building design in SU and created a test render of the exterior. I'm not sure how stable it would be; I've also tried some alternate configurations with much larger supporting structures.

| Thanks:) Quote werdnaforever ( ) perhaps a ruler would be helpful. For what parts? I don't really see anything in my drawing requiring perfectly straight lines. And I don't really like using perfectly straight lines while drawing... or do you mean using the ruler for something else?

| Quote RockoRocks ( ) For what parts? Is that water in the center, or a spire? After some actual sleep, I realize it was just meant to be subject matter rather than an attempt at an exact copy.
Sometimes when you draw, you approximate the shapes of everything into boxes. Then, you draw your objects inside those boxes. It's a way to help make sure things are positioned properly. I just thought: minecraft + box technique + x = drawing so surely x = ruler

| I made the metal version of two wonderful Skyrim's soundtracks, Dragonborn and Secunda. Lot of work for doing that
Do you like it?
