It is much better than what I remember from your first try.

I made this drawing :

This city is called "Maddyhme" by the Mildakians, or "Menudenan" by its dwellers. It is entirily made of sand tumulus, and it is the "capital city" of the "Mehnis".

I made also an album, called "Hay Roses", listen to it and tell me what do you think.

Some pictures I got in the last couple weeks

Had to shrink them due to bandwidth limitations on mobile net

All of these images were taken at night.

I did not get this shot outside because it was extremely windy and stormy, not too safe to be out. Luckily I got this off the back.

Small little cockroach

Mother spider carrying a bunch of babies on it's back

Toads, because everyone loves toads

Edit:

These Geckos are extremely hard to get good images of, they run the instant they see anything. I felt bad about getting them with a flash though due to how large their eyes are and how they reacted to the flash.

One of the many turtles I keep saving when they try to cross the street. I pick them up and drive them to another pond

I was having a lot of free time on my vacation and decided to finish papercraft model for Orbiter. I found it about 2 years ago, downloaded it, printed and left on the shelf till better times, but it's finally ready.

However, it is a very big model, and i don't have a good place to put it on. happy

Awesome! I have a PDF of this one and the blue one, but it's been a while since I've had the time (and desk space) to print out something like this and put it together. Also, years ago I used to be really into papercraft stuff (only for a little while) and used up more paper than I'd like to think about.

I made this drawing

Interesting architecture. One thing which caught my eye is the interesting semi-circular steps at the front of the building.

Is this a reference to that The Stanley Parable Helpful Development Showcase about game secrets? Also, the probe reminds me of the automated UCGO probe in Orbiter w/o the heat shield.

I've been working on a Stanford Torus

Since this posting I've removed the glass in the chevron shielding (although I may put it back), and I started work on the interior structure, which still needs revision. I've been able to make this thing from scratch really, really fast since I've learned alot on my previous attempts at space stations. They were cool, but not realistic (or credible) enough that I feel justified or satisfied working on them.

I'm also aware that there is a specific formula for the curvature and thickness of the pressure shell and the shield, but due to SketchUp's limitations I don't feel like making that exactly.

I also must admit to "cheating" in certain parts of the model- most importantly the chevron shielding, which does not fit together properly... there are some overlaps that I've hidden inside supporting beams holding them together. The torus shape isn't as straightforward as a cylindrical shape is in some aspects, unfortunately... there are some subtle difficulties too hard for me to explain right now in writing.
