| Quote DoctorOfSpace ( ) What do you think did Hitler survive?
I've read some intriguing reports about him living out his golden years in Venezuela, on the Moon, and even on Mars. yeah there is some show in the history channel about ppl that invastigate that and search for clues in south america etc. i watched some episodes of that. it could be true, they even discovered tunnel system in berlin that he could escape at night to a submarine or even some small plane. http://www.history.com/shows/hunting-hitler

| steeljaw354, you have not explained sonoluminescence, but merely described what it is. What is the physics behind it? We have a few hypotheses, but no unique, fully developed working model. Whatever is going on is probably pretty interesting.
As Midtskogen pointed out, the hotter corona is not that crazy once you realize the transition in density. And if you look at the temperature gradient within the sun, it increases as you get closer to the center, as you expect with core fusion. Heat flows from in to out, not the other way around. We know this because it unites a wide range of observations with stellar models. There is no working model of stars without core fusion, or emission via plasma at the surface, and the idea is easily disproved by observations (spectra, neutrinos, helioseismology). You also need core fusion and the standard models of stellar structure to make any sense of stellar evolution, metalicities, and so forth.
The mechanism for coronal heating almost certainly involves magnetism, and there have been a lot of recent developments in our understanding if you are interested in reading up on it.

| It doesn't really make sense to post like a week after I have given up with that theory. I have been busy with other things and you have already proved it wrong.

| I've been out of town for the last week for vacation. And it looked like there were still a few things that could be elaborated on since the last post, but if you moved on that's cool too.

| Yesterday evening I was watching a TV show on Focus that was talking about aliens and things like that.
I'm not saying that everything it said is necessarily impossible, but... 100.000 abductions every year just in USA? Really? I mean: They can cover whatever they want, but it's an huge business, how can you hide the fact that 100.000 people are disappearing every year? Also how could USA "sell human being" just for receiving... technology!
I can't deny that technology (mainly for what concerns electronics) is developing at a stunning rate, but what about other countries? (Japan, for example) Did they developed their technology just by themselves, while USA was helped by... Aliens?!
That TV show was preceded by an interesting documentary about the 2nd world war, why don't they do more shows like that?!
The universe is not required to be in perfect harmony with human ambition.

| Quote Salvo ( ) how can you hide the fact that 100.000 people are disappearing every year?
Over 100,000 people die everyday. It sounds like a large number but considering the population of the US 100,000 is far less than 1%.
Quote Salvo ( ) Did they developed their technology just by themselves, while USA was helped by... Aliens?!
The conspiracy is that the military gained access to the technology and licensed it off to private industry. Military gets first access then stripped down versions are sold off to numerous companies under the presumption that the military developed them, companies then refine the technology into consumer goods. Companies keep the technology covered up to continually benefit from government contracts and military benefits from having access to advanced alien technology.

| I can't accept the fact that so many UFO stories, Sasquatch sightings, urban legends, are just written off as complete lies, yet there is so many of them. The skeptics just laugh it off.

| For me, quantity of Reports is no substitute for quality, and the vast majority are just people being fooled by mundane phenomena. Certainly there are some that can't be explained, but that also does not necessarily mean the assumed interpretation is correct.
What it would take to convince me of something phenomenal is a high quality documentation with unambiguous evidence (not blurry, not a simple light in the sky, not a video of something that could just be a person in a suit, etc), verified through multiple reputable sources. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, as the saying goes.

| I had always been of the opinion that SpaceEngineer has the help of aliens! How else, one man could write such a program? Or maybe ... but no, that would be too far-fetched!
Don't forget to look here.

| So here's one.
I've noticed that about two years ago, gasoline prices in the US were in the realm of four dollars per gallon (for those raised on metric: expensive), and at the same time everyone was mad at president Obama and the policies he'd been introducing. But nowadays, nobody's talking about Obama because they're all worried about the ongoing election... and it just so happens that the gas prices are down by half. It stands to reason that the gas price is determined by how much people complain about the president: the less you complain, the cheaper gas will be ;P
Also pirates prevent global warming.
