seems like BPG format I mentioned before
got also now animation support, files produced are smaller than GIF and APNG which is kinda interesting
http://bellard.org/bpg/animation.html
https://github.com/xooyoozoo/libbpg

just in case something texture/2D animated, detailed yet tiny is needed wink

Tca_11a, it was updated just a month ago. What do you want, daily updates or something?

Implemented in next version, which is not shown yet. No I just want an update after each release.

Then it is up to date, so why are you asking for an update?

Implemented in next version, which is not shown yet

Because nothing on that list has been implemented for the next version.

I think nearly everyone here already knows about Interestellar's black hole rendition. SpaceEngineer also did some work with black hole accretion disks, but this is WIP. So you can bet something like this will appear eventually. smile

SpaceEngine needs a button to orient the spacecraft so it faces either the nearest star, brightest star, or barycenter of the system. That way, you can align the shield of your spacecraft so it isn't always heating up as you drift through a system or orbit around a planet. The actual heating up isn't simulated yet but being able to do this adds a nice touch of realism.

Also, I'm thinking about the film Sunshine. Of course, I'm always thinking about that movie, but I'm thinking about it more right now.

Would it be possible to get a model of the ICARUS the ship from the film sunshine into the game?
