Would it be possible to have aeroplanes as "spaceships" in SE? I'm not sure if the game allows restriction to atmospheres, but regardless a 747 with hyperdrive would provide some grins and giggles indeed. biggrin

Hyperdrive is set in the ship config file, so any ship can have one.

Would it be possible for talented modders to make something that looks like this in Space Engine?

I'm a guy. I don't know how to change my gender, so ignore the "female" bit. :/

I decided that I need specific galaxies and when I mean specific galaxies I mean catalog Galaxy models, And maybe some procedual nebula models too. anyway I Have a list for anyone who is willing to model these galaxies that I ask for and please do it too

list

btw the list will update over time as well put the asked model into a downloadable file for me too because I don't know how to put downloads in metafire or some other download site so if you do it for me. I will be happy and thank you if you do. smile

Recently, I visited the homunculus nebula, the nebula that was created by one of the two stars as it ages. I tried looking for the stars, but they weren't there. Since I don't know how to create stars, would someone mind doing this for me? Eta Carinae B is an O-type, and Eta Carinae A is a luminus blue variable, but a B-type star would be fine with me. The wiki page is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eta_Carinae
if no one is willing to do it, then could someone tell me how so i could try? smile

didn't see anything in the reals against bumping

Did you not see the parts about looking at the sticky threads? Because there are no less than two you could have chosen.

Also, why would you bump a thread that's less than a day old on a forum this small? That makes no sense.

By any chance has anyone attempted to do a expanded star catalog for the milky way using Tyche-2 or SAO?

There should also be default spacecraft in future versions of Space Engine, particularly most currently-operating Earth satellites, the Hubble Space Telescope, the International Space Station, and most currently-ongoing space probes like Mars Curiosity rover, Dawn, Cassini, Pioneers 10 and 11, Voyagers 1 and 2, and New Horizons.

Agree. With their past trayectories so you can go backwards in time and see the neptune flyby of the voyager 2
