| These shaders are for SE 0974 patch 04. If you try to use them with latest patch 05 they will not work.

Ahh! That would explain it then. Thank you!

The trouble is that the file that you downloaded via the link on the previous page and renamed tg_clouds_height.glsl has earlier creation time than shaders.pak of patch 0.5. You need to re-download the file, and then he will have a date today and will work.

It is not as simple as that: Space Engineer changes the shader code slightly in every patch release (the files that are included in shaders.pak file inside SpaceEngine\system folder) so if you just re-download the shader files from here and put them in system\shaders folder they will be using code from previous patch and may cause problems.
We have to wait for Rodrigo to study and then modify the shader files from this latest 05 patch after consulting Space Engineer for any questions he may have

| You can always edit them yourselves. Just take the original shader, the modified one, and the new one from the patch and compare differences in a program like WinMerge then copy over the changes to the right sections.

.pak files are .zip files. Just rename them to .zip (you need to change some windows settings in order to be able to see and modify file extensions: go to windows explorer menu item file and folder options and look for a setting named ''show file extensions for known file types'' and enable it).
But best thing is to wait for Rodrigo to upload his new shader files and put them inside shaders folder.
Also to Doctor of Space: Would you be so kind to update your shipwarp.glsl shader for latest patch? Thank You
My internet connection is crap in this place I am holidaying - there is virtually no signal

| It doesn't work in the latest patch, when I try my ship warp shaders I get strange screen artifacts. I am currently using an older patch for now.

| Nope! Create the shaders folder anyway and leave the shaders.pak as it is. The game will know how to handle everything for you.
