| Here's a few (or two, heh).
Eclipse at sunset.
I've noticed that when conditions are right, SE does the 'lunar pearl' effect (is there an astronomical term for it?) very well during an eclipse, or at least that's what looks like is happening. The moon in this case is a desert planet moon that is half the size of the planet that I am on and at a 33 day orbit.

Yep, that's the star's atmosphere, or corona, one of the most rare and beautiful sights in the universe. I can't wait to see the real thing in person.
ed: In your first shot, is the big orange star a binary? It looks like one giant star but with two separate lens flares. Contact binary, perhaps?

No, it's just a K type star (or maybe a red dwarf) that the planet I'm on is close to.
Not sure how close (in terms of hours) a binary would have to be in order to be classified as a contact binary.

| One of the more interesting landscapes in my travels. Really like the ice fields in the central crater. 4 segment mosaic.

I wonder if life could even exist close to a galactic center due to all the radiation.

Black Ark the 2nd and 3rd pictures are epic! Probably I would vote them for best pics of SE ever! Also Solaris as usual, Doctor Of Space, WhatsisName and Phoenix pics are great. Congrats to all of you!

Great sequence of panoramas.

| I actually had a spot yesterday that would have made a GREAT panorama, but decided not to with the lag I was getting while having LOD 2 on.

| WOW.
Incredible shots as always, Solaris. My favorites are "far far away" and the one that has the ringed planet behind two mountain peaks with the sun and asteroid field to the right. Beautiful!
