Do you have a torrent client installed? Most of the links are torrent links, so you need one to make them work.

I occasionally stream at http://www.twitch.tv/magistermystax. Sometimes SE, sometimes other games.

I hate for my first post on this site to be about an issue I'm having with the downloads, but that is why I'm here, so...

A number of the links are dead or just not working.Though my main concern is with the Earth. The Earth-surface torrent works, but the others never make it beyond Checked 0.0%. Is it possible for someone who already has those folders to upload them elsewhere, like DepositFiles for the Earth-surface?

There's no reason why the downloads shouldn't work since I'm always seeding. I think SpaceEngineer is too. I would make a direct download available, but with my upload speed it would take days for each one. Someone else will have to do it.

Hi,

I downloaded the addon packs and copied them in the \SpaceEngine 0.971\textures\planets folder. I replaced the old Bump and Surface folders of the planets with the new ones. Nevertheless I don't see any differences. They look all the same.
Do I have to do something else after that?

No. Keep in mind that the detail from these packs will still be nowhere near that of procedural planets. The easiest place to notice an improvement is the Moon. Earth and Mars are also nicely improved by the addons. But at the surface all of them will still appear blurry.

Thanks for the fast reply. I made a screenshot of the Copernicus crater with the Addon textures. Does this looks alright?

No, that doesn't look correct. Something must be wrong. Check in your textures/planets/Moon/Surface folder and check that the file names in the subfolders go up to 5_xx_xx.png.

When it's working correctly, you should get a result like this: LOD -2 LOD 0

Yes, some of the lists aren't updated very well... for best results, use the list in the OP of this forum thread.

I've been trying to download the Earth and Moon addons via the magnet link, and it's been sitting at 0% for a few days now. I have a very fast seedbox and I'm willing to share these files on a fiber pipe for as long as necessary, if I could just get a complete copy first.

I wish more people would seed :/ I try to seed all the time, and I know SpaceEngineer does too, but that's not enough, and if either of us is offline for some reason then no one gets them.

Someone who does have them should see about a good place to make a direct download available, or in the worst case let me know of one and I'll put them up (would take several days due to my slow internet).

I'd like to seed, but my ISP seems to be over-generous with their usage estimates when that usage is bittorrent. I seed anything for more than a few hours, I get a warning e-mail about my data cap. Which is supposed to be 70gb.

Updated the Mercury download. Also will be adding direct downloads for all addons over the next few days.
