This is an alternate model for IRREGULAR nebula, with less dust. i think it looks claner and much better this way. Just download this version of textures.rar instead of the previous one.
Rodrigo, after checking, I've used my own colors! I had forgotten, If you wanna try them : (0.4, 0.9, 0.65) / (0.45, 0.7, 0.85) / (0.7, 0.9, 0.75) Wow , this model fit with the game much better at long distance, more realistic. But I miss the dense cloudy part a little Anyway, again, great job Rodrigo, .! I wish we could have more than 3 models of diffuses nebulae or else. Is there a way who allow adding other models at the same time?( keep the original 0.95 models, the denses and the new one , and more , and more? )
Your new model with the colors above :
The greatest flaw of dusts stripes is when you have a luminous background :

Yes, just name them "Diff3", "Diff4", "Plan3", "Plan4" etc.

Edit : I had to update the scripts due to a little error ( visible box in bright environment), the cloudy center is now a little more diffuse, but still here.
not sure if im reading the ToDo list correctly or might be suggested in an earlier post, but how about adding dust clouds like the Eagle Nebula and the Pillars of Creation??
I've changed the supernova remnant nebulae models to use the Crab nebula type, witch different colors. Some types are similar to others, but oh well.. snr0
snr1
snr2
snr3
snr4
You can find the nebula.cfg file below. Note that it also contains the Solaris new planetary nebulae models in there. Remember to backup original file and to delete cache folder.
I also changed the universe.cfg file to increase planetary and SNR nebulas luminosity a bit, so they're easier to find while exploring.
