| I've used the name Lost Universe for some of my games before, but none have been adapted to any sort of scripted medium (old fashioned RTS/RPG).

| I think this is my first post, but...
Forever Explorer?
I'd love to see a name that sounds like old science fiction novels.

| I'm going to post this (again), and put it at the top of every page from now on:
New rule: no coming up with new names unless you think it's really good, really fitting, and can defend why you chose it. If people keep listing every name that comes into their mind we'll never make any progress.

| Sorry HD, I've narrowed them down to my 2 favorite and gave them a little explanation each.
Space Engine: Pioneer. I think this is a good one as when playing the game we are finally leaving earth and exploring new horizons and settling brand new planets we've never been to before... And all the rest.
Space Engine: Advance. The reason I like this one and think that it will fit the title is because we humans are advancing the race further in respect to technology, locations on other worlds, civilizations etc.
Edit: I don't think spacey names will work because they don't really relate to what you'll be doing in the game if you know what I mean.
PC: Core i7 3770K 3.5GHz, 8GB RAM, GTX670 2GB, Win 7 64-bit

| Well, the more I think about it, the more I like Machina Universalis for the engine. Assuming it's really necessary to replace Space Engine as a name, that is.
It means "machine of the universe". It's descriptive, it sounds good, it can be used to great effect in logos and stuff, and in an almost leonardian manner (Leonardo da Vinci, I mean, who was a genius, and who doesn't want to be connected with a genius?), and in general it has plenty of cool factor.
They let me use this!

| Quote DIS7RICT ( ) Space Engine: The Game That sounds like it would imply Space Engine is a movie/book/TV series and that this is the game adaption for it (which are usually not really good)
I will be inactive on this forum for the time being. Might come back eventually
