Please post here all of your reports about bugs or crashes in SpaceEngine. Attach to your message a screenshot (if possible) and a log file (it's called the "se.log" and is located in the SpaceEngine's directory). Only the log file will help me to understand your problem and find a solution.

There seems to be a tiny little problem in the new version... Look at this gorgeous Oceania world I found:

Nice, isn't it? There's just one problem... It's Earth! :O SpaceEngineer, what did you do to Earth? XD

Wow. Press Ctrl-C to disable water. I thought I fix that issue...

Did you make a clean new installation?

Yes, the 0.95 and the 0.96 versions are seperate maps.

Turning off water does indeed turn Earth back into a terra... And so does installing the high-quality Earth bump and surface map, which I have now activated once again. It was a funny moment finding that, though. "Hmm... I don't remember the Pacific Ocean being quite that big..."

That's funny apenpaap because the moment I saw this bug , I had to check it for myself and surprise, the Pacific ocean is now HUGE, but after a crash, I never saw that bug again. The earth is beautiful as ever now, even after 3 more crashes :/

Anyone with the same problem? It seems to crash a lot more than 0.9.5.1

I had a lot of crashes at first too, but I used to have them in 0.95 too before I turned VideoMemoryMaxPercent (or whatever it is called exactly) down to 70. I did that again in 0.96 and haven't had a crash yet since.

That's just a software bug. The board isn't that hot.

Spaceships aren't rendering for me and the movement of any object in fast forward is jittery/choppy.
Log: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/32146097/se.log
Edit: I noticed that if I record with F9 the movements aren't jittery or anything. :/

Yes, ships don't render in interstellar space. It is not a bug, just incompleteness.
