| Awesome! I wonder: will there be only ships in ship mode (or whatever it will be called), or can we also see stock ships in planetarium mode? It would be lovely to see the ISS go around Earth like in Celestia.

--- Nice video, Vladimir. I'm guessing you are about to finish this version, cause we are seeing lots of images and a video showing it, so I hope you can finish fixing whatever you need to fix, because I'm so impatient to see the new version

| Quote (Hasforjs97) Awesome! I wonder: will there be only ships in ship mode (or whatever it will be called), or can we also see stock ships in planetarium mode? It would be lovely to see the ISS go around Earth like in Celestia. No, ships now only use numeric simulation of motion in system's gravity field (suns, planets, moons etc). If you accelerate the time, accuracy will lost and ship will be pulled out of orbit. Also if you set certain time in the time GUI, ships will not change their position, while planets will. Ships now is some demo featurem a "toy". In future versions computation of their motion will be more accurate. Them will use hybrid a approach: then ship is on stable orbit, it moves like a moon using kepler's equation, computational cost of them is low or even no cost, if ship is in a far system invisible on the screen. Also, time can be accelerated and adjusted to any date - ships on stable orbits will be computed correctly. But if ship is on transition orbit, numerical calculation will be used, with all its restrictions: no major time acceleration, no adjusting time, just few ships simultaneously (because computational cost is high). This mean that you lave the game and return a week after, SE should perform full computation of ship's motion during this week, this may increase loading time, and you may finish with a ship crushed on a planet or asteroid. The good solution is force players to park all thier ships to stable orbits before exiting, or make some "fake" autoparking (if you lost control, disconnected from server, or leave the game, "smart autopilot" will park your ship to the nearest stable orbit to prevent a crash situation).

| Quote (Elbarto84) lol PhysX. I have an Imac and installed Bootcamp with Windows 7 and run Space Engine there. It was essential for me since i play a lot of games. If you have enough hard disk space it shouldn't be a problem.
is bootcamp free?? soooo.... where can i install it?
