What sort of computer do you have? Speed, Memory vid card & vram Gabriel?

BTW, check out this planet, stunning backdrop to a lovely planet. Not as
nice as the one I posted in Space Journeys, but still lovely. It's in M 42.

I don't recall all my system specs of the top of my head, too many exams at the moment smile I posted my dxdiag at the start of this thread.

Wow, you're right, RS 8404-1133-9-87872274-24 3 (the planet with the rings) looks amazing with the nebula in the background.

Hi tv239, Can you post here your 'se.log' please. And check out these thread here: http://en.spaceengine.org/search/?q=black+screen;t=0;p=2;md=

Also, have you extracted the downloaded files correctly. Try writing them to a new folder (don't overwrite the old folder). We've had failed extraction before, which has stopped SE from starting properly. You should see this folder structure after extraction is completed:

Your folder size on your hard-drive should be ~415Mb after its extracted

Quad Core i7 930 CPU o/c 3.8 GHz - 6GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM - ATI HD 5870 1024Mb - Intel SSD X25-M Gen 2 - Win 7 64-bit
Add Your PC Spec To Your Signature Or Post It Here

This bug seems to be unsolvable in v0.94, but it is fixed in version 0.95. That should be ready this week.
