a question: are the moons of asteroids procedural?

the universe is made to be explored, but no one will ever visit it all

Since you responded positively to Second-Ich's location menu suggestion mock-up, I thought I might re-pitch my old suggestion for the Spacecraft Build menu:

I know the Spacecraft Build is basically a debug feature atm (please don't remove it from the planetarium mode, though!), and not a high-priority for development time, so I understand if this doesn't get changed, but it'd make things very much easier - there are an incredible number of addons out there already - I've held off porting most of the ships I had in 0.9.7.1 over to 0.9.7.2 simply because of the mess that the spawn menu became with all of them in there.

Implemented the shadows on a rings casted by another planets/moons.

Shadow on a ringed moon casted by another moon:

Entering the parent gas giant shadow:

Shadow casted by Enceladus:

The shadow casted by the rings on an another planet and its rings is much more complex to implement.

You are a god! A magician!

Elite: Dangerous doesn't even support ring shadows on planets and has hilarious limitations in planet and spacecraft lighting from more than one light sources and you alone are huhumiliating Frontier cry

Too bad sad it won't be implemented in this version right?

SpaceEngineer, the first one looks great on the windows, but is kind of weird on the icon trays in the left and right part of the screen IMO.

I'm liking these old-school skins massively more... much more elegant! The more digital, minimal, and light in use it looks, the better. No gradients, no thick borders, etc. It definitely helps a UI feel much lighter in function and friendly to the eyes. smile

Yeah, I suggested that! My reaction: http://www.reactionface.info/sites....743.jpg

The universe is not required to be in perfect harmony with human ambition.
