Does that include the bug with stars in other galaxies?
Also, forgive me if this is a rude question but, do you have an idea of when the next release will be?
Thanks.

Quote (Enki) Also, forgive me if this is a rude question but, do you have an idea of when the next release will be? When it's ready. There's a rule that was implemented in the last work progress thread which should go here too:
NO ASKING ABOUT RELEASE DATES.

| Updates during last month:
Various column width in the Star Browser's table Control of the rotation of the ship with mouse Supporting RGBA color specular textures for ships with per-pixel specular power in the alpha channel Supporting RGBA color emissive textures for ships with per-pixel emissive temperature in the alpha channel Supporting of modular ships Updated Ships Manager: ability to build, rename and destroy spacecrafts, sorting tables by any column Easy installing of spacecrafts addons: just copy files into SE folder, and new ships become available in the Ships Manager's build menu Added Polish and Swedish localization, updated other localizations Installer for SpaceEngine distribution with automatic selection of localization
Fixed a crash in F3 menu when entered a name of non existing star in a star cluster Fixed wrong axial tilt info of Earth and other barycenter-orbiting planets Fixed wrong obliquity parameter in exporting of the planetary system script Fixed an absolute magnitude of the Halley's comet

| Quote (SpaceEngineer) By the way, is the class name "Planetship" looked good in English? No, not really, it sounds like a planet-sized spaceship. The only English term that I know of for craft like that is "interplanetary spacecraft", no short words like with starship. I can't think of a good name for that class.
Maybe we should invent a new system for classifying ships. Instead of combining range and function into one name, we could have two names like with planet classes. The first name would be the range of the ship (orbital, interplanetary, interstellar), and the second name would be the function of the ship (transport, shuttle, probe). Some classes, like space stations, would not have a range class.
For examples:
Cassini would be "Interplanetary probe" Space Shuttle would be "Orbital shuttle" SE motherships could be "Interstellar mothership"
etc.

Your mind is software. Program it. Your body is a shell. Change it. Death is a disease. Cure it.

For range, you'd have sub-orbital, orbital, interplanetary, interstellar, and intergalactic, and for function, there would be probes, transports, cargo-vessels, motherships, etc.

There are so many classes may be. For all of them we need a strings in the localization files.
Vessel classes: Civil: probe, pod, lifeboat, harvester, shuttle, transport, cargo-vessel, science ship, mothership Military: drone, fighter, missile/torpedo/rocket ship, gunship, battleship, cruiser, carrier Without engines: satellite, station, shipyard, mine Special: astronaut, booster, stage (1st, 2nd etc), fuel tank, missile, bomb
Range: atmospheric, sub-orbial, orbital, interplanetary, interstellar (intergalactic is unnecessary because any ship with a hyperdrive can do intergalactic flights).

| It can's be called STATION, because it have ENGINES and HYPERDRIVE. Emperor was wrong. Death Star as a STATION have no purpose, because it can hold in awe only few planets in a system where it was built. But this is an offtop here.

| Quote (SpaceEngineer) drone Drone is not a function, it just describes whether the vehicle has a crew, so this class would be unnecessary.
Quote (SpaceEngineer) Emperor was wrong. Death Star II was under construction at the time, so that particular Death Star WAS a space station at the moment he said that

Nice. One minor correction/suggestion: 1st column should better be called ''star system'' or simply ''system''. Because it may be a multiple system. 6th column (counting from the left - i.e 3rd from the right) could be named ''stars'' or ''suns'' as it is now - no big deal

| "Star system" may mean galaxy, star cluster or multiple star - so to avoid confusion, I prefer to say "Planetary system".
