Try running it with an ATI card, you'll get what I mean in about 10 seconds

That is why I am not using ATIs smile

Actually I have played for more than 15 mins continously, landed on planets, back to space, back on planet surface and no crash smile
Mind you I also loaded the heavy stuff for the solar system: High resolution surface and bump maps for earth, moon, mars, mercury, some jupiter and saturn moons and still ot a single crash smile

mars

Don't use the high res Mars surface map addons from the past (bump map is ok), they are obsolete now. A higher res version of the new default map will be up soon.

Hmm... it's crashing on startup for me with the message "3D space simulator has stopped working." I'd really like to play it, anyone have any ideas?

Finally my long and patient wait has come and rewarded me (and all of us)...

However, I do have 1 question before I do anything utterly stupid and that would be:

Do I have to remove my S.E. 0.9.6.2 ?

Lol, before I couldn't wait for the release...
Now I can't wait to download it xD

I was like well, lets check out any S.E. news, probably nothing significant today but you never know. And the 1st thing I said (loudly) was: - O - M - G - shok

Haven't checked it out yet but... GREAT JOB SPACE ENGINEER biggrin

Oh nevermind, I've just checked a post made by Neon that I have to ''completely remove'' my previous version...

I'll try yahoo

I found the fast download and that's it, bombing my homework (doing whatever I can in 10 minutes). Thanks Spaceengineer. My marking period just started, so one missing homework will drop me to a C. But who cares! biggrin

No, but you must install 0.97 into its own folder. Do not install it over your existing SE installation.

Hi, HarbingerDawn!

I have a little problem, when I try to download the space engine 0.97, I click on download, I click on mirror 1 Google drive, I click on download file, then I come with the message saying sorry, too many users have recently download the file, and then I click on mirror 2 Yandex disk, I click on blue download button, the download time is greater than 12 hours on the first page of this thread. Please check this out. Thanks! I'm really looking forward for trying out the SE 0.97.

Thanks, I guess I should have checked my drivers before posting. But surprisingly, updating to the Catalyst 13.5 beta seems to have fixed the issue. Thanks again.

There are other links available. Try the "Alternate Mirror" link in the opening post.
