| Quote (midtskogen) I've put my copy here: http://voksenlia.net/spaceengine/SpaceEngine 0.97.zip I hope that's ok. But I only have a 5 Mbps uplink and I run a few websites which also generate some traffic. So I'll probably remove the file eventually without notice. This is just as a helping hand for the desperate at the moment. smile Yes, a torrent would be better. Thanks! This is something different, about 2-3h for download. If Space Engineer agrees, I will make torrent and post it here. I have 1 Mb/s uplink, it is not much, but for torrent will do the starting work.

| Quote (boyan3001) This is something different, about 2-3h for download. Actually, you should be able to download it in about 16 minutes if you get all the 5 Mbps bandwidth. But I just started an upgrade of a pc to Kubuntu 13.04, which is about 2GB, and this will affect my uplink as well for the next 25 minutes or so. Sorry about that. :/

| I'd do it, but my connection doesn't permit torrent uploads. Anyone care to oblige? How to create a torrent
This new release is getting a lot of attention on reddit.com, and I'd hate for us not to get new users because people can't download it. You know how short of an attention span people have...

| Quote (midtskogen) SE should now be multithreaded, right? But according to system load, no more than one core gets used Asynchronous loading mode is the multithreaded mode, and it is enabled by default, so unless you've changed the loader mode then it should be multithreaded. Keep in mind that the multithreading is only useful when flying through the stars and galaxys so that they generate at high speed. Generation of planetary systems (which is what happens when you use the star browser) is not affected by the multithreading if I'm not mistaken.
When flying through the galaxy at high speed and generating stars all of my cores are used and the star generation rate is fantastic. If that's not the case for you then maybe it's a Linux issue somehow, or something else on your end.
