It turns out that there's already a documentary about the Chelyabinsk meteor, but it's not very good IMO.

I saw it a few months ago. It had some clips that I hadn't seen before, which was interesting. Otherwise, I agree, they should have made it better, though it could be worse.

The most recent episode of Nova, about Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy, which slightly less than a year ago caused over $68 billion worth of damage and hundreds of deaths.

Oh yes, I saw it a couple months ago and noticed they were repeating it the other night. Pretty good documentary. Recommended it to some folks I know who weren't affected by the storm and had called it overhyped.

I am currently watching a quite interesting documentary about black holes:

It is really interesting after 41min where it talks about the relatioship between the size of a galaxy (its total mass) and that of its central black hole. I however don't quite understand it sad

There is a relationship between the mass of the galaxy's bulge and the mass of the supermassive black hole that resides at the center. This is pretty interesting because it suggests there is some mechanism by which they are related, despite the enormous difference in scale (the black hole is an extremely tiny thing compared to the galaxy as a whole). It may be that the black hole acts as a seed for the formation of a galaxy early on, or perhaps galactic mergers may play an important role. Possibly both.

A good documentary I watched it called 'The Illusion of Time' hosted by Brian Greene, who also wrote 'The Fabric of The Cosmos'

The documentary really makes you think for a minute.
