There are also different types of lenses for different applications; for getting fine detail like on flowers and insects, a macro lens would be your best purchase.

I'll see if I can can afford a decent DSLR and lens and a good camera. Hopefully I'll be able to get some good quality images biggrin .

EDIT: I have a camera, but it's not as good as yours, Antza2.

Really! I used the same lens for my eagle/deer photos. Never thought you could get that much small detail with it, though if the near focus is at ~1.1m then that makes sense. Very cool!
