| Quote (Watsisname) Lastly, since nobody appears to have said it yet, what killed the dinosaurs (as well as about 75% of all species...) was an impact event with an asteroid. There is extremely compelling evidence supporting this, which includes the remnant of the impact crater (the Chicxulub Crater)
Another likely theory is a super volcano, but my guess would be that it was probably both the asteroid and the volcano at the same time. The seismic impact from the asteroid being the trigger that caused the eruption of one or several (super)volcanoes.

| Quote (Antza2) But my guess would be that it was probably both the asteroid and the volcano at the same time. I agree. In ecology, only one event can't lead to a mass extinction. In all cases of well-known ecological crisis, there is more than one simultaned cause. For instance, 65 million years ago, the extermination of the dinosaurs was caused by both the Chicxulub impact and the eruption of the Deccan Traps, which are a chain of supervolcanos, formed by the first eruption of a hot spot.

| Yes, that is fair to say and many extinction events involve multiple phenomenon which are not easily disentangled. The End-Permian extinction is one of the best examples of this.
The Deccan Traps appear to have begun erupting before the impact occurred, and if that is correct than the impact cannot be the cause of the eruptions. It is possible it made the eruptions more severe however, and there is some scientific debate on the possibility of a link between impacts and eruptions.
The Chicxulub impact is generally thought to have played the greater role for the extinction because the effects of a ~10km impact are so extreme -- it simply pales in comparison to a supervolcano. Additionally, the strata demonstrate the extinction was extremely rapid and is very well-timed to the age of the impact. In itself I would argue that the impact is sufficient to explain the extinction, though the volcanic eruptions certainly made things even worse. Possibly the ecosystem was already stressed by the climate changes from the eruptions, and then the impact dealt the final blow.

| Assuming that title is correct he should be talking about "They Live" at some point, but since I couldn't make it more than a couple of minutes without giving up, could you direct me to the timestamp of when he gets onto that subject?

| "The Builder" and "the big black guy" Roddy Piper and Keith David, rather.
I can't stand David Icke, but I do love They Live, it's sad that more people haven't seen it.

| Quote (HarbingerDawn) I can't stand David Icke,
I'd rather listen to him talk about reptilian aliens than listen to someone like Wilcock
Have an example

You should help pressure Antza2 into seeing it.
Edit:
Here is a movie based on a book based on a "true" story.

Malachia's theory talks about end of church as we know it, maybe there will be a radical change, or the "destruction of Rome"...

| Just a pointer, don't say anything about the shape-shifting reptillians that need human blood to stay in the form of a human. If you do say something, they'll hunt every single one of us down. Once everyone has seen this post delete it and shun me and pretend you don't believe, but inside you really do.

| I think God is angry with the forthcoming release of SE0.97. The more SE resembles the true universe the more angry God will become. I think it would be wise if Space Engineer starts to deliberately introduce unrealistic features in SE that don't exist in real universe. There are copyright issues at stake! Todays meteor was just a warning... And it was no coincidence that it happened just after Valentine's Day. God is angry with Valentine's Day too. Hence Valentine's day and Space Engine development must never be mentioned together! May Space Engineer never release a new SE version on Valentines day...
