| Quote Talyn Here is my very first try at making a 3D World back in the day. Neat!
I had forgotten about my 3D stuff, I'll post some too.
An animation depicting an outdated design for a BA 330 based space hotel. There are a lot of things about this that I don't like and would change if I had done this today (this was 3 years ago), like the really bad thruster effect (I had done a better one in the past), the untextured Soyuz, and the node modules and docking compartments (after I made this I had a great idea for a ball-type nodal module, which I later discovered the Russians were planning to use on their future OPSEK space station).
My take on a Covenant frigate that I made for an animation I was doing. I never quite finished it, but it was good enough for the animation (which I have yet to make...)
A short animation I threw together for fun in late 2008 using some WIP assets. Best seen in fullscreen HD.
Something I made a long time ago (2007?). It shows a Covenant patrol craft (or something like that) that I made very quickly with dropships in its hangars. Mars is behind it. This was my first time attempting to use bump maps (that's why the ship looks odd).

| I like your space station hotel design. Do those pods use a centrifugal force of some kind to simulate gravity?

Probably my last work using photoshop for now. I doubt I'll make anything new til I learn a bit of 3D modelling

| Thanks guys.
Solaris, can you explain how to use that generator? I clicked each and every button and nothing's happening. I can't see a ''generate'' button either.

| My first PC drawing from scratch, using Gimp and tons of brushes. I don't know what to do with colors, So B&W first ! The global aspect is a mess.. that's because I was testing/learning different techniques all along the drawing, without any real direction, I've tried to organise it at the end I'm totally a beginner in drawing, so any critics are welcome !

| That is fantastic for a first drawing! It looks quite natural. You can tell that stars are being born right there. The texture of the nebula is so fine and subtle. And the dust! Wow! The galaxies in the background look wonderful too. Very nice work!
It would be really cool to see a colored version

| Thanks ! Yeah I'm pretty happy with it even if many many things could have been done better ( as always ) The hard part was drawing the pillars and showing some depth, but the details with brushes ( including galaxies) are pretty easy and fun to do.
Quote (HarbingerDawn) It looks quite natural. Good to hear, if you see "errors" or unnatural stuff please let me know.
Quote (HarbingerDawn) It would be really cool to see a colored version I do have tried a colored draw but it's too ugly to be shown But I'll persevere ! If you or anyone know some techniques for colorize B&W pic, please let me know too!
Edit : a interresting collage, I sould have stoped around the middle pic Image
