Heat records in Norway shattered: 29.5C yesterday at the Norwegian-Russian border in Pasvikdalen. Not bad at above 69N in May. That's 2.5C above the previous May record in Finnmark county (measurements go back deep into the 19th century). It's a new station, though.

Sounds like cheating to me
I first played through Crysis on a 13" MacBook Pro. It had a 2.53 GHz Core 2 Duo P8700 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a Nvidia 9400M with 256MB of VRAM. My current machines are much better at handling it.

First of all, this is old news, it's actually posted in this thread somewhere. Second, that's not a "rate", it's an absolute concentration of carbon dioxide relative to the other gases in the atmosphere. It says nothing about rate.
