| It makes me sad to reboot computers. As if starting something all over again. As if wiping out an achievement. Like demolishing a house of cards that took time to build.
I rebooted one of my servers today with 860 days of uptime. That's since 19th January 2011. Its ssh service hung (but everything else was running fine) and I could not log into it (headless server). So the quickfix was to reboot.

Think of it as a new beginning, with previous achievements not forgotten, no, but set as challenges. When a house of cards falls, you have the cards and the experience to build a bigger, better one.
