Yep... That's what I thought... Even if you ban me right now (p.s. Please don't) I'll still get my .97 when the time comes....... My vision is starting to blur from deprecation... And no, I have turned off antialiasing!

| Hmmm... This is totally off-topic, but this night I had a nightmare about the "happy birthday" cat of the main forum page. And I feel that this scary cat should be replaced by something more inconspicuous...
For example, here is a pixel art image :
Want some music of mine ? Please go here !

| I have no idea where I should put this, but I was just thinking...
Space Engine's universe is essentially a cube which loops back on itself on all sides, if that makes any sense. It's tiled infinitely, like a pattern on your desktop, except that there's only one actual tile. You guys know what I'm talking about.
If Space Engine ever gets to the point where we have inflation, and can go back 13.7 billion years, this could actually be accomplished in a way that makes sense.
The actual area of the universe (the cube) is space as we know it. Inflation is the expansion of the universe- space itself expands. Thus, in Space Engine, as you go back billions of years, the spaces between galaxies would get smaller and smaller- my point is that the cube itself can shrink. The distances between galaxies would get closer and closer, but the ratios between the different distances would be the same. The galaxies won't get smaller, they'll just get closer.
Of course, for it to be accurate, the galaxies would have to slowly fade away, or get smaller --EDIT!!! NOT get smaller- the proper wording would be to devolve-- ultimately, the galaxies will get to a point where they are close enough together that the universe is just a bunch of scattered stars. I know this would require galaxy evolution, and stellar evolution, but if those could be done in Space engine, then so could the expansion/life of the universe itself.
Ultimately you'll reach the Dark Ages- stars have yet to form, so all you see is a black screen. Why even bother, you ask? Well, if you could go back even further, to approx 380,000 years after the big bang, the screen could turn white; the universe is no longer transparent... okay, now it's pointless to go back further...
...I guess this will be in version 3, or something.

The universe is not required to be in perfect harmony with human ambition.
