| Man, I just love Mr.Bean. Rowan Atkinson is a terrific actor.
This one had me rolling in laughter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jquWO-0VkII
PS: Has anyone here seen Blackadder? It was a really great show, but surprisingly unpopular.
PPS: How do you embed youtube videos in your post?
AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2 GHz Quad-Core - AMD Radeon HD 6950 2GB VRAM - 4GB RAM - 1680x1050 75 Hz Samsung screen

| I don't like mr. Bean at all. But I love Blackadder. This was posted using my smartphone, by the way. I prefer using the full website version when using a smartphone. My phone has 1920x1080 resolution anyway. The main problem with using a smartphone is to hit the right links and typing is of course slower.
To embed videos use the video tag around the link.

| Quote (anonymousgamer) That must look glorious It basically means that individual pixels are impossible to see and that I can zoom all the way out still preserving all details. That resolution might sound like overkill, but I think it works ok.

| Quote (Salvo) My pc have lower resolution... what kind of phone it is? Samsung Galaxy S4, if I remember correctly. But the information page says GT-I9505.
EDIT: Specs at Wikipedia (the screen size is 5"). I bought it a few months ago after my old HTC phone began to drive me crazy. A few weeks after I bought it a couple of years ago my three year old dropped it on concrete. Repair shops would charge half of the phone's price, but I managed to find a new screen (not through HTC who were anything but helpful) and replair it, but the responsiveness never became as it was and the seal wasn't too good, so the screen was becoming dusty.

| Wait a second... if they're mass-producing 1920*1080 AMOLED screens for smartphones, then what's the barrier to mass-producing enlarged versions - with the same resolution - for computer monitors?

Here are a couple: Processing power, bandwidth. So there's no market yet unless you can sell things without caring about standards.
If you scale it up to 25", you get 52 megapixels. At 60Hz that's 3 billion pixels per second. Which means it will require 75 Gbps or more way beyond HDMI and Displayport.
EDIT: I was too quick. Forget the above. I missed the "same resolution" part. But a 52K monitor would be nice.

| Yeah. I don't care about 52k, 1080 is still perfectly fine with me, but if they can make such a beautiful and relatively cheap 1080p AMOLED display that's only 5" in size, why can't they make one 25" in size? Normally screens with less pixel density are easier to produce, if I'm not mistaken?
I'm hoping that someone will chime in who knows about this sort of thing, because I'm sure there's a reason but I'm just impatient to get myself a fancy OLED monitor
