Hey everyone! First I'd like to thank everyone who posted in this thread for sharing their favourite music, genres and artists, I love the great variety and diversity in genres and artists I've seen while browsing this thread!
Personally, I have a soft spot for folk punk and related music, especially by one of my favourite artists Andrew Jackson Jihad. Here are his two best albums, in my opinion:
Furthermore I encourage everyone to check out this highly-acclaimed album by Neutral Milk Hotel, which I too consider one of the best albums:
As well as this album which I discovered a couple of weeks ago and still listen to frequently:
Here is a selection of my favourite artists:
Neutral Milk Hotel
Andrew Jackson Jihad
Pink Floyd
Yes (discovered this band on the forum and I love it, so thanks to the forum for that)
The Front Bottoms
Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains / Ramshackle Glory
SAINT PEPSI (vaporwave artist, check out his album Hit Vibes!)

Hit Vibes by SAINT PEPSI:
and lastly, this chill song:
I will be inactive on this forum for the time being. Might come back eventually
Phillip Glass all the way son!!! Drop The Game Chet Faker, Voekoevekas Girl With No Eyes, Interstellar Soundtrack, Max Richter, Jake Chudnow,, Glitch Mob, and The Space Engine Soundtrack are all things I like to listen to while on Space Engine!
Edit: This is kinda a mixed bag but they all have some similarities. I just can't find those similarities. Oh here's one... none of them are death metal. I'm sure most of you have heard of Phillip Glass.

Guys, I really need your help... I need a music for my videogame!
I've composed many times music, but, since this is a very serious project, I wanted to use some music made by professional people. (Mainly because the only instruments I have are Guitar Pro and solmire.com...)
The mood of the whole game is particular, since it's (for a good 95% of the time) set in an old library. I know it's hard to understand, but I'll show you a video so you'll get an idea:
This game is set in seven different ambiances, and each one of them represents a different element of the nature (like earth, blizzard, fire, and so on...). I've found the right track for almost every ambiance, all except one, the main one.
For "main one" I mean the one that starts in the beginning of the game. (the music you can listen in the video is the one for "water")
Getting to the point: I've looked in the whole SoundCloud with basically no result. Do you know a free-to-use music that could fit a fantasy game like this? Eventually something that reminds this music of Harry Potter?
P.S.: She wears shoes right now!
The universe is not required to be in perfect harmony with human ambition.
Cool ! Glad to see you like it. I've finished an experimental ambiant track, one day i'll release it when the other tracks ofthe album will be finished.

I remember you posted a rock song a log time ago, which was good but poorly mixed. This one is better on the mix !
I think this just became my favorite album of all time. Aes Dana and Miktek have such great sounds, and the two of them are perfect together. Every song is a gem. Plays well late at night with a good pair of headphones, or while wandering out alone, far off in the wild lands.
