| A couple months ago I was doing some work with my university's 32" scope, and took some video of Saturn by holding my little point-and-shoot camera to the eyepiece. Finally got around to processing the video frames -- result doesn't look too bad.

| That's awesome, Harbinger! I love that you can see the rocket plume in the first shot.
I only got one shot of the launch, (covering stages 1 and 2), since torn between resetting the exposure and watching it with my own eyes through binoculars, I chose the latter.  It was really a fantastic sight.

| Very fast fireball last night, only visible in a single 1/3" frame of the video and bright enough to be seen through a thin layer of clouds.

| Sounds like it must have been of cometary origin to be that fast. Is that consistent with standard meteor shower fireballs?

| The path and speed are consistent with the September epsilon Perseids of unknown origin. But it could be anything. Also actual speed is hard to determine from only one point of view, since it greatly depends on perspective and distance which you don't know.
EDIT: The Spaceweather link didn't work well. You have to look up 11th September to find the article that I tried to refer to.
