| haha, do you know what is funny? My last name is York! Thus why i originally saved the image. Somewhere, on mars, there is a Cape in my family's name!
Here are a few more images to share, which I dug up today on this site. Many of the ones I posted earlier can be found there. Including a very hi-resolution (2048x1536) image of the Avalanche from above.
Victoria Crater (which I think might have been posted earlier?)
Hi resolution image of layered deposits
Crazy Dunes and Seas
Converging Sand Dunes and Frost
Also, check out the CRAZY formations in this map shot from HiRise.
MAN I LOVE THIS PLANET! So much to see!
Edit:
Also, I posted most of the low resolution versions to save people's bandwidth. You can find 2048+ resolution images of all of these on the site provided above. I started from the last page (2006) and worked my way back. Careful though! the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter has taken a LOT of images (2,000+)!

| Wonderful images Solaris! It's amazing what can be done with those old images with modern processing techniques. Decades later and those missions are still showing us new sights

| Just the red hue really. If I saw that hanging in the sky the first word that comes to mind is ominous.
