Astronomers from the SETI Institute's Carl Sagan Center have recently demonstrated that it is possible to observe Io's volcanic eruptions from Earth. This is an important fact as it means that volcanism on Io can be monitored without needing to have a spacecraft present, which will not happen for many years.

LOD 0 is recommended (remember that high LODs work perfect with planets, which textures are located on hard disk). A fake height map used for Europa disturbs the landscape a bit, and the colors of this texture are synthetic, but we can't do anything with this until Europa has a satellite with lidar and hi-res true color camera orbiting it.[/spoiler]

Some of the animations aren't working correctly on my browser for some reason (namely the later Voyager ones) so if anyone else has a problem seeing them animate, save them and then view them from your hard disk.

This is the only time where RPB looks realistic, when viewing two bodies in different parts of the system at the same time (which you almost never will in SE). Other than that it just confuses people RPB and autoexposure need to be merged at some point to make things look realistic.
